Phantoms Eliminated

The Miramichi Phantoms made an early exit from the NESHL playoffs Thursday evening, as the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse beat the Phantoms 4-2 and swept the series four games to none. Jeff Wilson and Matt Shannon were the goals scorers on the night while Nick Hardy was again strong in goal, but took the loss. Lameque now plays Tracadie in a best of 7 semi-final series.

Phantoms On Brink of Elimination

Game 3 was unkind to the Miramichi Phantoms Tuesday evening, falling in a 4-0 first period hole, one they could not climb out of on their way to a 7-3 defeat at the hands of the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse. With the win, Lamque takes a 3-0 strangle hold on the series. Matt Foster, Logan McEvoy and Kris Keating scored the Phantoms goals, while Nick Hardy started in goal and was replaced by Marc Richard.

Overtime Defeat

For the second night in a row the Miramichi Phantoms came up just short falling to Lameque by a score of 4-3 in overtime. Logan McEvoy, Kris Keating and Robbie Veriker were the goal scorers for the Phantoms while Nick Hardy was again stellar in goal, but took the loss. Phantoms Up-Ended In Overtime

Game one of their best of seven series between the Miramichi Phantoms and the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse did not disappoint. The Phantoms tied the game at two a piece with 12 seconds remaining in the third period but were ousted in overtime by a goal from Lameque forward Dominic Noel. Jeff Wilson and Matt Milson scored the Phantoms goals while Nick Hardy was outstanding in net but suffered the loss.

Message Sent

A very under staffed Miramichi Phantoms team shocked the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse Friday evening in the last regular season game, knocking off red hot Lameque by a score of 7-6. Nick Hardy was stellar between the pipes picking up the win in goal. Bryce Silliker and Darcy Foran each notched a pair of goals while singles came off the sticks of Matt Foster, Nathan Francis and Kris Keating.

Pecheur's Dump Phantoms

A short staffed Miramichi Phantoms sqaud rolled into Cap-Pele Tuesday evening and were promptly dismantled by the East division leaders by a score of 7-2. The Phantoms kept the game close with the score being tied 1-1 after the first but eventually ran out of steam. Bryce Silliker notched both Phantoms goals while Marc Richard was tagged with the loss.

Phantoms dropped by Division Rivals

The Lameque Au Ptit Mousse sealed the deal on an empty net goal with 46 seconds remaining in the game to down the Miramichi Phantoms by a final score of 7-5. The game was a real crowd pleaser with some fast paced back and forth action mixed in with some fist-a-cuffs. Logan McEvoy, Tyson Donovan, Kris Keating, Matt Foster and Kris McKay all scored singles for the Phantoms while Nick Hardy was in goal and took the loss.

JC's Knock Off Phantoms

The Bouctouche JC's jumped out to an early 4-0 first period lead and managed to hang on the rest of the way, en-route to a 6-4 victory over the Miramichi Phantoms. Matt Milson, Bryce Silliker, Jeff Wilson and Brandon Kenny were the Phantoms goal scorers and Marc Richard started between the pipes but was replaced by Nick Hardy late in the first. Richard suffered the loss.

Phantoms Fall to Lameque

The Miramichi Phantoms fell behind the eight ball early entrenched in a 4-0 deficit at the end of the first period, a mountain they couldn’t climb as they tasted defeat by a score of 9-3 at the hands of the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse. Matt Milson, Jordan Kenny and Joel Wormell were the Phantoms goal scorers while Nick Hardy took the loss in goal.

Lameque disposes of Phantoms

The Lameque Au Ptit Mousse cruised past a short handed Miramichi Phantoms squad Friday evening by a score of 8-3. The Phantoms put forth a great effort even with a skelton squad but in the end were over powered by the red hot Ptit Mousse. Darcy Tuplin, Jeff Wilson and Wesley Vye were the goal scorers for the Phantoms, while Nick Hardy and Marc Richard shared the duties in net. Hardy suffered the loss.

Phantoms Post Huge Win

The Miramichi Phantoms were firing on all cylinders Saturday evening at the LBA, knocking off the Eastern division leading Cap-Pele Pecheur's by a score of 3-2. The Pecheur's scored two late goals in the final minute of the game but Phantoms netminder Nick Hardy stood his ground turning in a great performance for the victory. Bryce Silliker, Robbie Veriker and Scott Jenks did the damage on the scoreboard for the Phantoms who improved their record to 4-10-4.

Phantoms Lose Another Tight Contest

For the third game in a row the Miramich Phantoms went to extra time but couldn't find a way to victory. The Phantoms were handed a 5-4 Shoot-Out set back at the hands of the Bouctouche JC's. The Phantoms were unsuccessful in all three shoot-out attempts and the JC's capitalized sneaking one by Nick Hardy who was stellar in net the entire night, but suffered the loss. Matt Milson, Matt Foster, Bryce Silliker and Darcy Foran all scored singles for the home team.

Civic Center Showdown

Once again the Miramichi Phantoms found themselves on the wrong end of one goal game, losing in overtime to the Tracadie Alpines by a score of 9-8. The Alpines scored two goals in the last 39 seconds of the third period to knot the game then went onto victory scoring the winner with only 24 seconds remaining in overtime. Robbie Veriker, Matt Foster, Wesley Vye, Jeff Wilson, Bryce Silliker, Kris McKay, Matt Milson and Darcy Tuplin all scored singles while Nick Hardy suffered the loss in goal. The Phantoms record now stands at 3-10-3.

Phantoms Lose in Shoot-Out

In what was a closely contested affair, the Miramichi Phantoms went to a shoot out against the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse on Friday evening, but wound up on the wrong end of a 2-1 final. The game was a tight checking match up with Jeff Wilson scoring the only goal for the Phantoms on the evening. Nick Hardy was superb in his first start of the season but took the loss in goal.

Phantoms Shaded by Alpines

Despite a third period barrage which seen the Phantoms claw their way back into the game, the Tracadie Alpines managed to hang on for a 5 - 4 win. The Alpines took a comfortable 5-1 lead into the third period only to see it evaporate by a stong offensive out pour by the Phantoms. Jeff Wilson, Bryce Silliker, Kris Keating and Robbie Veriker all found twine for the visiting club while Marc Richard took the loss after being replaced by Nick Hardy mid-way through the second period.

Phantoms Drop Road Game

The Memramcook Maison Levesque Acadiens disposed of the Miramichi Phantoms by a score of 6-1 Friday evening. The Phantoms struggled all night to beat goalie Eric LeBlanc who was on top of his game. Jeff Wilson managed the only goal of the evening for the Phantoms, while Andrew Sim took the loss in goal.

Schedule Change:

Due to the unfortunate bus accident of the Cap-Pele Pecheur's, the Miramichi Phantoms will now be in action this Sunday December 16th in Tracadie. Game time is slated for 7:45 PM at the S. A. Dionne Arena. Also note, the Phantoms will now be playing the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse on December 21st at the LBA.

Phantoms Find Victory on the Road

The Miramichi Phantoms made the most of their first visit to Bouctouche this season knocking off the JC's by a score of 4-3. The Phantoms took the one goal lead into the third and held tight defensively for the win. Bryce Silliker, Nathan Francis, Jeff Wilson and Darcy Tuplin each scored a goal in the victory. Marc Richard picked up his second win of the season in goal. With the victory the Phantoms improve their record to 3-8-1.

Alpines Turn Back Phantoms

The visiting Tracadie Alpines walked away with a 6-4 win Friday night at the Civic Center at the expense of the Miramichi Phantoms. The Phantoms found themselves in pentaly trouble all evening and in the end could never catch up on the scoreboard. Darcy Tuplin continued his torrent pace with another pair of goals, while Jeff Wilson and Matt Foster rounded out the scoring. Andrew Sim was in net and took the loss.

Phantoms Strike Pay Dirt

Hard work and determination finally paid off for the Miramichi Phantoms as they picked up their first home win of the season, knocking off Memramcook 5-3. Kris Keating netted a pair of goals in the victory while Robbie Veriker, Darcy Tuplin and Bryce Silliker each had singles. Andrew Sim also gathered up his first win of the season in net. With the victory the Phantoms record now stands at 2-7-1. The Phantoms next see action at the Civic Center when they take on the Tracadie Alpines this Friday December 7th at 8:00 pm.

Phantoms Drop Another One Goal Contest

The Miramichi Phantoms once again displayed great resilence but found themselves on the wrong side of the tracks, falling to Cap-Pele by a score of 6-5. Robbie Verkier connected on a pair of goals while Nathan Francis, Darcy Foran and Bryce Silliker rounded out the scoring. Andrew Sim took the loss in goal. The Phantoms have no time to re-group as they play tomorrow night at the LBA against Memramcook. Game time is 8:00 pm.

Phantoms Get Edged Out

The Miramichi Phantoms found themselves on the wrong side of an 8-7 goal scoring affair in Memramcook last evening. Despite carrying a 5-4 lead into the 3rd, the Phantoms let the lead slip away, along with their record which now stands at 1-6-1. Darcy Tuplin and Robbie Veriker both had a pair of goals, while single tallies came off the sticks of Bryce Silliker, Matt Foster and Logan McEvoy. Andrew Sim was in goal and took the loss. The Phantoms now move into a two game home stand beginning on Friday November 30th vs Cap-Pele. The Phantoms then play Memramcook Saturday December 1st. Both games will be at the LBA.

Phantoms Find the Win Column

Kris Keating played the hero for the Miramichi Phantoms Sunday evening, scoring the overtime winner as the Phantoms shocked the Tracadie Alpines with a 6-5 victory. Bryce Silliker tied the game up with 23 seconds remaning to send the contest to overtime where Keating sealed the deal. Darcy Tuplin fired home a pair of goals, while Logan McEvoy and AJ McKay had one each. Marc Richard picked up the victory in goal as the Phantoms enter the win column.

Phantoms Struggles Continue

The Miramichi Phantoms roared out to an early 3-0 but failed to maintain their momentum and were eventually knocked off by the Memramcook Acadiens by a score of 7-5. Darcy Tuplin did his part on the scoresheet notching a hat trick, while single markers came off the sticks of Wesley Vye and Kris Keating. Andrew Sim was between the pipes for the home team and took the loss. With the loss the Phantoms record drops to 0-5-1.

Phantoms Skid Continues

The Miramichi Phantoms early season woes continued Friday night as they dropped a 6-3 decision to the Lameque Au Ptit Mousse. Tyson Donovan, Darcy Tuplin and Kris Keating all found the twine for the Phantoms while Marc Richard was stellar in goal but suffered the loss. After five games of play in the NESHL schedule the Phantoms record stands at 0-4-1. The Phantoms next see action when they host Memramcook at the LBA on Friday November 16th at 8:00 pm.

Tracadie Knocks off Phantoms

The Phantoms turned in another great effort but once again ran out of steam falling to the high octane Alpines by a score of 8-4. Phantoms Drop Close Contest

The Miramichi Phantoms played host to the Bouctouche JC's at the close confines of the LBA on Friday night and came up on the short end of a 4-3 score. The JC's stormed back with 3 unanswered goals erasing the 3-1 lead the Phantoms had accumulated. Matt Shannon, Nathan Francis and Matt Foster were the marksmen for Miramichi while Andrew Sim was incredible in goal but suffered the defeat. Bouctouche is undefeated this season and their record improves to 3-0-0 while the Phantoms record drops to 0-2-1.

Cap-Pele trips up the Phantoms

In their second game in 2 nights, the Miramichi Phantoms put in a solid effort but were defeated by a score of 5-2 at the hands of Cap-Pele. Kris Keating and Jeff Wilson were the goal scorers while Andrew Sim suffered the loss in goal. The Phantoms next see action this Friday night at the LBA when they take on Bouctouche. This one has an 8:00 pm start time.

Phantoms Drop Overtime Contest

The Miramchi Phantoms put on a great display in front of over a 1000 fans for their season opener but were on the losing end of a 7-6 overtime score. Jeff Wilson picked up where he left of last season, scoring a hat trick to lead the Phantoms. Newcomer Darcy Tuplin notched a pair, while Nathan Francis rounded out the scoring. Andrew Sim was solid in his Phanotms debut between the pipes, but was the tough luck losing goalie.

2012-2013 Schedule Released

The NESHL has realeased it 2012-2013 season schedule. The Phantoms will play a 24 game schedule with 12 home dates. 4 of these games will be played out of the Miramich Civic Center while the other 8 dates will take place at the LBA. The Phantoms home opener happens at the Civic Center on Friday October 26th at 8:00pm where they tackle their arch rival the Tracadie Alpines. The Phantoms expect to ice a very competitive product with some new faces to their already solid core of players. Season passes are now available at a cost of $75 and can be picked up at The Carpet Man, 201 King George Hwy. Phantoms Hold Try Outs

The Miramchi Phantoms will be holding open try outs for their 2012-2013 team. If you are 18 years of age or over and interested in playing competitive senior hockey, the Phantoms openly encourage your participation in their training camp. This season will see a 24 game schedule with 12 home dates and 12 away games for the Phantoms. If you have any other questions or concerns please contact us via email.
